Hand dipped in the Lake District by Moorlands

These handmade candles are hand dipped in the Lake District. When I first started out selling my creations, candlesticks were a key product, the natural marriage was to sell candles too. I found Teds candles and they were an instant hit. Now after a long time concentrating on taking by business online I am delighted to sell them once more.

Who thought a candle could have design and style? Inspired by Danish candle maker Kurt Saybe, the candles offer a Scandi/Mid century modern touch and work really well with our simple modern candlesticks as well as a more classic Oak candlestick.

The quality of these candles is second to none. They are made from paraffin wax and come in a range of colours. Our favourite colour is Jade, whilst, the Bottle green and Deep Berry Red are ideal for the Christmas dinner table.

The handmade candles measure 350mm x 22mm (9″ x 7/8″) and the price shown is for a pair. When I first lit a candle at home the first thing that struck me was that the flame doesn’t flicker, and there were no drips whatsoever. They genuinely install a feeling of calm and relaxed ambiance to the home.
